Plan & Pray: 3 Reasons To Use A Faith Planner

Faith planning doesn’t have to be complicated. I use my faith planner as an act of worship, writing prayers, expressing gratitude, and meditating on God’s word. In my opinion, it can be as simple as writing out daily scriptures to reflect on what I am reading and focusing on what it means to me.

The more time you spend with God’s word. The more it changes you. Today I wanted to share 3 Reasons to use a faith planner.

1. USING A PLANNER HELPS MAKE FAITH A PRIORITY

At the beginning of the year, I stopped faith planning. Not for any particular reason, I was just busy with work and didn’t make time for my faith warrior planner. After 2 months into the new year, I quickly realized that my faith planner helped me tremendously with my spiritual journey.

You don’t prioritize something by waiting to see what happens with everything else first so you can make the important thing “fit.”That’s the biggest mistake when it comes to developing your faith. The first and most critical step is to make basic, intentional commitments right from the start. Opening my planner at the beginning of the day allowed me to have the structure I needed to make my faith a top priority.

2. KEEP TRACK OF PRAYERS & INTENTIONS

A consistent morning and evening prayer routine helps set a foundation of faith for life. Using my faith planner as a place to store my prayers helped me develop a guide for my life. A planner serves a source to help me destress and release the worries of the day and is a book of memories to reflect back on prayers and express gratitude.

3. WRITE SERMON NOTES & BIBLE STUDY

The benefit of Faith planning is that you avoid having your notes in various notebooks with the possibility of losing them. My planner allows me to add notes or commentaries from the teachings as they speak to me, and I even write out different translations if I want to go deeper in my study. I personally add notes to my phone while in church and then transfer my notes to my planner in my study time afterwards. I love reflecting back on my sermon notes and reliving the message over again.

I’m getting back to my faith planner on a consistent basis and I hope this will nudge you into starting your own study. If you want to see my latest faith plan with me video from youtube, I’ve attached it below.

Happy Planning,
